The NAV meets every month of the year, except January. Typically we meet on the third Friday of the month, but in December (to avoid the festive season) we meet on the second Friday of the month. Meetings are currently held at 7.45PM at Kensington Town Hall, 30-34 Bellair St, Kensington. The venue is a short walk from Newmarket Station on the Craigieburn Line and Stop 26 (Newmarket Station & Racecourse Rd) on the No. 57 Tram.
During our meetings members are invited to share numismatic items of interest, a member or guest speaker may give a keynote talk on an interesting topic, and we occasionally hold tender sales for members to add to their collections.
Visitors are welcome but we suggest you Contact Us or check the Numismatic Calendar before attending to check the date and time of a specific meeting, as we may need to vary our meeting times due to public holidays and other events.
When Are Our Meetings? 7.45PM, third Friday of the month February to November. Second Friday of the month in December. NO MEETING IN JANUARY. Meetings usually run for two hours.
